 About Me:

The first five years of my tender young life were spent in Mitcham, Surrey until the family moved to Harlow, Essex in 1962. There we all remained until, much to the relief of my mum, dad and younger brother Pete, I joined the Royal Navy and left home ten years later.

I now live in deepest darkest south Somerset, England in a village called Templecombe. I originally moved here in 1983, due to my job, and very much consider it my home now. I work in Yeovil, as a technical author, helping to compile helicopter maintenance manuals for a contracting company to Agusta Westland  Ltd.

I have been a confirmed West Ham United fan for many years and spent far too much money following the Hammers. Living as I do in the West Country I don't get many opportunities to see them on a regular basis anymore, but I still attend as many home games as possible.

My wife Janet, and I, are avid followers of Touring Car racing and can usually be found trackside at 'exotic' locations such as Thruxton, Donington Park and Brands Hatch during the motor racing season.
