1. Daisy Chain Toddler Group - Held in Templecombe village hall 09:30 - 11:30 every Thursday, during term time. £2 per family. Parents and carers of babies and young children invited to drop in. For further details contact Emma on (07850) 050643 or email e4637@aol.com.
2. Sticky Fingers Playgroup - Runs every weekday Mondays - Fridays.  Now open mornings 09.00 until 12.00 and afternoons until 15.15 at the new building on Abbas & Templecombe Primary School grounds. Templars Tennis Club (Templecombe Recreation Ground)

Welcome to Templars Tennis Club.

CLUB EVENINGS - The main club evening is held every Wednesday from around 6.30pm. New members are very welcome and if you are not sure about joining then come over on a Wednesday evening to meet us and have a game with us, no obligation. Come on, give it a try!!  With court lighting, the club evening is all year round, weather permitting.

MEMBERSHIP – Fees for 2017 are £70 for family membership and £50 for a single adult.

Templecombe Youth Club
1. For School years 7-9 inclusive on Wednesday evenings from 19:00 to 21:00 at Templecombe village hall, during term time.  Annual membership is £1.50 with 50p admission per session.  Please contact Heather (01963) 371255 or Sandy 370302 for further details.

2. The youth club has become very popular over the last few months but will shortly be losing at least one Youth Club leader. The club may not be able to continue unless some extra help is recieved and is limited to what it can do with only a handful of volunteers.  Any parents who can help out about once a month would be gratefully appreciated and should contact the club on activity nights at the village hall.

7. Community Bus Service - Set up over three years ago to serve the villages within the local community this very successful scheme is now looking to to reach a wider range of people in need of this valuable service.  Individual users have to join the travel club at a one off cost, payable direct to driver on your first journey.  Bookings can be made by telephoning (01963) 33864 between 09.30 and 12.30 (Mon to Fri).  For more information telephone (01963) 33864/34594 and speak to Andy or Sue or Click here
8. Adult Tap Dance Classes - At St. Margaret's Hall on Wednesday evenings.  Beginners: 19.15 - 20.15 and Improvers: 18.15 - 19.15.  For more information  please call Louise Holliday (01963) 362689.
9. Refuse, Recycling and Food Waste Collections - Your recycling box and food bin are collected together each week - for Templecombe this will be every FRIDAY.  Refuse is collected fortnightly (every other FRIDAY).  The Parish Council would like to remind parishioners that the earliest time that refuse can be put out for collection is midday on the day before before it is due to be collected.  Please click here for refuse collection dates.

11. Templecombe Golden Age - Meets at the Recreation and SportsClub on alternate Wednesdays from 14:30 until 16:00.  Enjoy a chat, tea, biscuits and a game of bingo.  New members would be welcome.
12. Horsington Parent & Toddler Group - We now meet on Wednesdays during term time from 09.00 - 10.30 in St. Margaret's Hall, Horsington.  All are welcome, it is an ideal opportunity for babies, toddlers and parents to get together.  For further details contact either Amanda Jackson (01963) 370458 or Nicola Johnson on 370143.

14. Somerset County Mobile Library - This service calls at Templecombe on Tuesdays on a three weekly basis.  For details on dates and timings please click here.
15. Riding for the Disabled - A local Riding for the Disabled Group urgently needs volunteers on Wednesday afternoons (14.00 - 16.00) term time only.  Some experience with horses an advantage but not essential.  If you would like to help, please telephone Tessa Woodhouse on (01963) 32421.
16. Horsington Toddler Group - This informal group of mums, dads, pre-school children and babies get together every Wednesday during term time between 09.00 and 10.30 in Horsington village hall. 1. Coffee Mornings - On Thursdays at 10.30 - 11.30 in the Templecombe URC hall. Drop in for a coffee and a chat - Everyone welcome. For more details contact Tina Chapman (01963) 370527.

2. Do join us on Thursday evenings for Craft club in URC hall at 19.00 and Table Tennis at 20.00.  All warmly welcome.

19. Half Moon Music Night - The friendly and relaxed Half Moon Music Night continues on the first Wednesday of every month at around 20.45 in Horsington. 21. Templecombe Recreation & Sports club -  Large hall, skittle alley, darts board and pool table. Membership £7, Senior Citizens £5 and Juniors £2.   Football matches are played every Saturday at 14.00 and Sunday 10.30 so come along and support your local teams.  Why not try the club for a night out? 25. Templecombe Scout Group - The group is open to all young people aged between 6 and 18 and meets at the Scout hut which is next to the village hall. 31. Wincanton - Citizens Advice Service - We help people by providing the advice they need to resolve their problems - our advice is delivered by volunteers. 32. Templecombe Women's Institute - We meet every second Monday of the month at 7pm in the Village Hall. We welcome ladies of all ages and have been described as 'a lively and dynamic' group.
